The obligatory "I am back"-entry

Wed Oct 14, 2009, 1:24 PM
  • Mood: Winter Downs
  • Listening to: Moomin soundtracks
  • Reading: Joakim Andersson - Recept för domedagen
Title say everything. I'm back. In two days I've raided countless second hand stores, been at a Dali-exhibition, been at the nature-historical museum thingie, got lost in old town, been at a chocolate festival and a fashion market. And yes, we had time to eat and sleep a bit. We were actually going to go to Cosmonova too and see some awesome underwater dinousaurs in 3D! But the tickets were sold out. D: So next time ...

I actually came home last sunday but didn't feel like getting back to DA just yet. xP

Oh, and today I got locked out from home. Lucky for me that I had a book with me to kill the time.

Just a quick, quick journal to say that I won't be around for a little while. I and a friend are going on a trip to the capital of Sweden and waste some serious money (I hope not, but it will probably end up that way). :I

Trying to write at my school work but I have like the hugest writers block I've ever had. <.< Why can't insperation be sold in six-pack?

If you've already done 10 Free Sketches, simply link the journal entry in your comment. (Screw that, I want to give sketches anyway, of course you can do it if you still want to xP)

For simplicity's sake, include your request in comment form.

3) No tag-backs and the same person can't be tagged twice.
4) You have to tag at least 5 people. Random ones will do if you're desperate. But you can tag more.
5) Post the icons of your tagged people in your journal, and send them a message telling them they're tagged

You have any idea how hard this was? <.< Yeah, I bet you have. Especially to pick out favoirite songs by The Sisters. And decide genres. I suck at genres.

Got myself a trial version of RPGMaker VX to play with ... for a month only. Sadly. I really like to play with RPGMakers.

OC quiz and random rant

Wed Sep 23, 2009, 9:42 AM
  • Mood: Nervous
  • Listening to: Garmarna - Den bortsålda
  • Reading: Kerstin Ekman - Händelser vid vattnet
  • Watching: Los abrazos rotos
Found a short little meme and thought that it could be fun to use my time on this instead of important stuff.

About an OC ... And Im picking Kalek. Yeah.
1) how you thought of their name
2) what made you create the character in the first place
3) how the character has changed over time (if they have changed)
4) any random fun fact about that character

1. I'm not really sure. Before, I used to spell his name Khalek, and I didn't really know hwo I had come up with it. But then I was reading through my brother's warhammer guide books (yes, I read the short novels and look at the pretty pictures in those books) where I came across a character named ... guess what? Khalek. So I suspect that I had stolen the name sometime long ago. But I didn't want to switch, because it was just the right name for him. So I just ditched the "h" since I don't pronounce it anyway. And it also made his name look too ... stylized.

2. I was fourteen. I was writing a fantasy story and I said something like: "Let there be a sadistic, cold, evil and cool dark elf as a maincharacter" and there was a sadistic, cold, evil and cool dark elf as a maincharacter.

3. At first he was a grumpy but brave upper-class man in shiny armour who was good at fighting. Gradually he became less brave, got his armour exchanged for a bunch of rags and lost pretty much all his fighting skills. So, what's really left of him? Well ... a grumpy, cynical, coward loser who just thinks he's a bit better than everyone else. He's pathetic.

4. Pretty much every character in the story (except Natt and himself) wants to see him dead. :I Poor baby.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On another note ... *CivilWar-OCT seems to get really, really big. Ahaha
... I'm a bit scared.
Now I should go back to my writing. Damn it. I'm in a drawing mood. Talk about bad timing to read a writing course.
And while I'm ranting. I saw Los abrazos rotos yesterday. Pedro Almodovar's latest movie which I strongly recommend to everyone with good taste. And .. uh, if you have bad taste you should see it anyway. As education. Yeah. (please don't take me too seriously)
